iDesign est sans doute lune ou la meilleure app de dessin vectoriel, très proche du professionel, et cest un exploit vu la faible puissance du ipad. Il ne lui manque que : - possibilité dombrage des objects - outil dalignement dobjets - combiner des "paths" ou joindre des objets. ------------ iDesign is a great app for the ipad, very professional compared to the ipad capabilities. What I would love to see is the ability now to : - drop shadows on objects - have a tool to align selected objects (bottom, top, middle, horizontally or vertically) - be able to combine paths - be able to join distinct paths

Crashes all the time.

Im a designer, I make my vectors in Corel and Illustrator, a long time I try found one Vector APP for iPhone and iPad to make my vector works, this APP is the best, Im very happy because I can export to Illustrator. To developments, my congratulations for this APP.

Please add the following object snaps: middle, border, object cross, tangent. When making the object snap need an adjacent magnifying glass to see details (my fingers difficult snapping view).

This is a marvel for technical drawings. I will indicate to all my colleages in my engineering course, please keep updating and fix some bugs. (Note: some people simply dont know how to use the tools, but the interface is very easy to understand for everyone that has used any vector grapghics editor, but an tutorial link in the app can help in this).

Finally a design/drawing app that has all the features I have been looking for in other apps in vain. This one I can really use. Support is great and with upcomming features implemented I would not hesitate to 5/5 it.

So far I really like this App! The UI is well usable and all in all its a powerful app for making simple graphics on iP***. Would be really neat to have boolean subtract, add etc.

Recension iDesign This app is a very good one and it is for the possibilities of an iPad very easy to use. But I always use to say nothing is perfect and that can be made better. + Good performance - Exporting PDF is not possible for Pages, PDF Reader or QuickOffice - Exporting choice not individual. Résumé: Well I wouldnt say it is perfect but I cant find much to say.

Some clever features, the user interface is unobtrusive and well thought-out, and one can start producing precise designs very quickly. Perhaps it would be possible in a future version to allow printing the underlying grid along with the drawing. Cheers!

I like idesigner. Nice and clear Interface and Easy to use. But what realy lacks is the abilty to bring in pictures to scale and mask.

But I miss the import of a svg file.

I just finished checking out the update that was recently released and I have to express how pleased I was to see a # of issues that were addressed such as added text and auto updates, plus a shopping list of other upgrades I havnt explored yet. Ill be sure to tell all my friends. Gabe

Thank you Samson for your development work on iDesign. You have done a good job creating a pure vector app on a touch platform... iDesign functions smoothly and intuitively once you get the hang of the interface. The curve creation and editing tools are complete and responsive. I hope you will consider adding gradient fills plus the ability to import, place, scale and transform bitmap images as objects from the iPad photo library. Transparent background png images can imported via email to the iPad photo library and they would be very useful for creating quick and attractive design layouts combined with pure vectors in iDesign. Thanks also for making iDesign a universal app. I will follow your efforts and the progress of iDesign on the iPad with much interest. Thanks again for your efforts.

just your average vectorial drawing app, except that only half of the freakn commands actually work. worst 5$ spent on a app in a very long time, stay away from that piece of garbage.

As an AutoCAD user when it came to drafting a recent floor project at my house I was very pleased to find this app, as it has most of the basic tool functions Im use to. The app is designed to be used by anyone of any skill set and can produce nicely detailed drawings. If your on the go and need to bust out a quick technical drawing or just want to sketch with tools a bit more precise then drawing a freeform line with your finger then this is the app for you.

i find the the program useful ( for the price fantastic ) there is of corse a redundancy in having 2 things that basically do the same thing in the curved line section needs diminution line for quick length measurement and dare i say would like 3d but thats a stretch on an iphone no processing power over all for doing basic quick diagrams for light fab work its great

This app proved to be much better than my expectations, I am quite impressed. It is a powerful design tool that will be very useful to me. I commend the developer for making this great app. I am looking forward to making good use of this app.

Add dwg / dxf export and you five stars!

Dxf export would be super , snap, area tools?
